As an Global Systems Integrator (GSI) Director, you will be responsible for selling Nerdio Manager for WVD to a set of GSIs around the world who are interested in interating Nerdio into their services offerings. You will work to identify WVD opportunities in the GSI’s pipeline and partner with them to close. You will use all methods of communication including email, LinkedIn, phone, and Teams/Zoom calls. Your job will be to intimately know the inner workings of the GSIs you manage, their sales and delivery people, and uncover WVD opportunities where Nerdio can plug in and help companies deploy, manage, optimize, and secure the WVD environment. You will also partner with Microsoft to understand how they too are leveraging GSIs for WVD and you will be expected to maintain excellent records and tracking in Nerdio’s CRM tool regarding your progress building pipeline with GSIs.  In this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of desktop virtualization (VDI). Successful candidates will have a proven track record selling VDI in a direct and or partner-focused position. You must be highly motivated and take an entrepreneurial approach to growing the relationship and revenue in addition to being a team player.  The opportunity for growth for a strong sales person is limitless.

 

Our ideal GSI Director is highly skilled in the development of lead generation and sales hunting methodologies within a partnership selling environment--the partner here being the GSI. The GSI Director is an integral part of the sales team responsible for uncovering Nerdio opportunities to prospective customers, partners, and Microsoft sales teams.  To achieve success you need to be a take charge sales representative, thrive in a consultative sales environment, and have strong written and verbal communications skills.  You will need to establish a strong rapport with Microsoft and be considered a trusted advisor.


Responsibilities:

  • Uncover and build rapport with a named set of GSIs to drive to closure their native WVD opportunities with Nerdio.
  • Uncover, develop and drive highly collaborative sales opportunities within the WVD ecosystem in partnership with GSIs.
  • Grow and nurture relationships and cadence within and around pipeline creation and management with GSIs; sales forecast, deal conversion planning and aligned joint opportunities pursuit.
  • Utilize CRM to manage opportunities including customer contact documentation, customer needs, and active projects.
  • Must become proficient in Nerdio’s IT systems for quotes, CRM entry, upkeep, and account setup.
  • Collaborate with GSI’s sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and communicate all issues/client concerns.
  • Negotiate pricing for Nerdio solutions in accordance with company’s pricing policies and procedures. 


      Requirements:

      • 7+ years of proven sales track record in the End User Computing and VDI space in a quota-carrying sales role.
      • 7+ years of GSI sales experience in a virtual desktop role required.
      • Competency and understanding of VDI cloud technologies and operating models
        • Familiarity with WVD, Citrix, or VMware VDI and relevant virtual desktop cloud technologies and solutions.
        • Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills, strong presence. Be the opportunity detective.
        • Ability to drive open, highly collaborative and well aligned relationships
        • Strong ability to navigate Microsoft resources for a successful and effective unified sales closure pursuit.
        • Accountability to the quota assigned and accepted.
        • High-level organizational skills and professionalism.
        • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
