About the Position 

Automation/API integration expert, efficiency guru, technology Master in HubSpot   

The HubSpot Operations Specialist is responsible for bringing our Sales & Marketing processes and strategies to life on the HubSpot platform. Using best practices, reporting and analytics, this role will implement, execute, and iterate on programs to reach our customers and help achieve our revenue targets. 


You will be responsible for managing all things HubSpot, including strategy and best practices, management, and implementation. You will develop strong relationships with various departments at Nerdio and will be a real self-starter, efficient, and competent worker and always think at least three steps ahead. The ideal candidate can juggle multiple projects at once and at least two years' experience managing sales and marketing Hubs within HubSpot will be required.

You must be highly motivated, very flexible, and action oriented as we are a fast-moving organization that can pivot often. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in process management and execution within HubSpot. You should be able to efficiently plan, build, and follow through with sales and marketing campaigns, including tracking and reporting on progress regularly.  

To achieve success, you need to be a take charge person, thrive in a fast paced, agile environment, and have strong communications skills and ability to work independently and proactively.  You will need to have a proven history of working remotely full time and excellent time management skills. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

Essential Functions: 

  • Acts as an administrator of the HubSpot platform including the creation and maintenance of team members, workflows, custom fields, reports, dashboard development, and data flow management 
  • Analyze data gaps and work with the sales department to update and enrich data profile 
  • Function as a translator between departments to understand business requirements for HubSpot requests such as features and reports, create requirements to meet functional and underlying data needs, and gain stakeholder acceptance post-implementation 
  • Work with Sr. Director of Marketing to define, build, manage, and report on lead lifecycle, ensuring visibility, proper handoff, and data integrity throughout the process 
  • Configure and maintain HubSpot integrations as needed 
  • Create reports weekly/monthly/quarterly and dashboard views as needed to empower data-driven decision-making for Sales team 
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales and Partner Solutions to ensure data integrity, shared understanding, and consistency across the business and systems 
  • Use best practices to manage HubSpot, keeping portal and data clean, and customizing views, properties, workflows, etc. 
  • Identify, define, and own implementation of new ways to enhance data quality, increase scalability, and otherwise improve performance 
  • Strategize, write, and build emails and workflows to target audiences based on campaign and overall KPIs and goals 
  • Set workflow goals and campaigns as needed and track progress 

 

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience gathering requirements, implementing, and managing HubSpot 
    • 2+ years of managing email marketing strategy and implementation within HubSpot 

     
    Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: 

    • Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience with HubSpot specifically 
    • Successful track record of business analysis support for cross-functional teams, able to compile and digest data to help team members and executives focus on the material takeaways 
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions independently in a timely manner 
    • Detail oriented, self-directed, and likes to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a high degree of proficiency in Excel 
    • Able to communicate conceptual ideas clearly and effectively 
    • Ability to contribute individually and accomplish projects with little supervision 
    • Strong project and time management skills; comfortable with frequent change and short lead times 
    • Ability to work successfully with some ambiguity 
    • Strategic thinker who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and execute the details 
    • Strong collaborator who can work successfully across departments 
    • Ability to demonstrate successful prioritization and simultaneous management of multiple initiatives
